A C650 friend of mine told me he uses these numbers.. he flies the III, VI and VII.
He said the III and VI have the same range, basically 1900 NMs with 2-3 passengers, it goes around 1700 with a full load (7-8)
As for the VII, believe it or not, he said it doesnt quite go as far as the III and VI even they hold the same 1100 gallons or so of gas. He said loaded up full pax he can go 1700 miles, and 1800 miles with only 2. So the III/VI go about 100 mile farther than the VII with 2 pax. Thats kinda minimal in my opion, but to some that may be the world of difference, that extra 100 miles.
These numbers are with NBAA reserves, no wind.
Comming out of Hailey at 5319 ft with a 6900 ft runway i'm sure is fun. Thats gonna be the factor for your distance, and you might not be able to come out with 2 pax and full fuel.
I flightplanned your SUN-ISP route, and here's what I got;
DBS J82 FSD J16 BUF J95 J217 HNK PONEE2
Flight totals: fuel: 7020 pounds, time: 4:09, distance 1961.1 nm
Now of course the fuel and time is based on our Westwind, with current winds but from what I know, the fuel burn of the Westwind and C650 is about the same, but the C650 cruises at like 450 ktas, we cruise at 420.. so at 450 here's what I get...
Flight totals: fuel: 6639 pounds, time: 3:54, distance 1961.1 nm. Average groundspeed 504 knots.
You might could do it N/S... but I wouldn't even try it going into the NYC metro area... For the guy going into Concord, NC, thats a completely differently story.. we go in there a lot with the westwind, and it's never nearly as busy as NY.. except on race day.

I understood it to be around 2100 nm?? Of course the number would depend on alt., temp., speed, # of pax, etc...the usual stuff. My question is this:
SUN-ISP non-stop
1821 nm
figure 3 pax??
Is this trip doable?? What kind of wind component would be required??
