It was for an immediate C650 PIC for a month based in DUBAI. Only paying 5K for the month.

I wonder how much money the person who operates the airplane agreed to pay ACASS for that period?

$5,000 seems really low for a full month.

I had to re-check her email. it was 8500/mo and a business class seat. $100 per day per diem. But it was one of those today is thursday, can you leave monday jobs..
Even at 8500-thats only $283 a day. I can get 500 from the cheap folks in the US and up to 650 from other operators. So I had to tell her Howie-NO DEAL! She came back and said that you dont work every day-but yet you are to remain available--sounds like standby to me--so pay me for it..

Anybody have any experience working with ACASS ???

I have seen their contracts and they don't seem to pay very well.

You are a contractor. If you want the job call them and tell them what you will do the job for $$$. They don't seem to have many jumping at the chance for thier contracts. Start a new trend-raise the bar for the rest.
