I dont see why you couldnt, check on the TSA's website and the specific airlines website as well. Worse comes to worse, call the airline and ask. the worst they can do is say no.

We used to use CB's as our radios when spraying. No other communication gear on board. They worked really well.

We have 2 Caravans that have a Radio on board... Its always fun to talk to the truckers as you pass overhead. I think its also a Marine radio too, because i said "Breaker Breaker 16" and this voice comes back and says "unless you have an emergency, get off of Guard channel!" oops... passes the time by at night.

I would expect that I would be o.k. the TSA probably will want you to turn it on or run it through an x-ray machine or bomb screening device. Call ahead, to be sure.

The TSA should realize that FOREIGN terrorists are prohibited by F.C.C. regulation and most local laws, from using CITIZEN BAND radios to commit a crime.

HF radios on a/c have a setting for AM vs USB.....27215 was CB channel 21, as I recall.....
