Yes, they accept American Certificates. From what i remember they accept the commercial with the ATP written (minimum, might not be competitive these days). Just look on the company website. What ever the case may be send a resume or fill out an app!! You never know. At least your now on file and it show's interest. Do a search on this board and PPRUNE. There is a wealth of information on both. Good Luck.

Brown Cow, at least Cathay Pacific pays their first year pilots a livable wage; what can Brown do for you as a first year pilot? Oh, 26K, wow, how generous for that $4,000,000,000 giant company! Last time I checked Cathay Pacific interviewed and subsequently hired based SOLELY on knowledge and ability; no chasing down the UPS driver for a recommendation letter. While it's one of the toughest jobs in the world to get, it's also one based on fairness.
