His circle includes skypine69 and PBRstreetgang. Since they were all hired around the same time. Anyways, I would probably also want a second opinion if that were my circle.

I heard of an ATR stewardess going #2 on a certain ATR captain in Hilton Head, however...

anyone else hear this story?

That would be in MYR and they did it to each other. Nothing like a good ole' CLE steamer on an overnight, I guess? Yeah, trainwreck.

No, according to her, the hot carl was HHH.

Everyone else here is talking about CAT II approaches as well. I don't think anyone referenced cat 2 aircraft category.

As for your question, you can do a CAT II or III for that matter behind anything. ATC will keep your spacing between you and the heavy aircraft ahead. If you are fast, they will slow you...and vice versa. If you get to close, they will break you off (go around) and bring you around to do it again. I am not sure on the exact spacing between you and the heavy in front but I think its 5 miles. We do CAT II approaches into JFK all the time and its not a problem behind a heavy.

Your circle, is a one man circle jerk. Your desire for a "second opinion" equates to another mans hand on your junk.

Now if they had been in CLE would it have just simply been a 'Steamer?"

Do two RJs doing a Cat II get heavy aircraft separation if the first RJ has General Lee's wife on board?

There is no increased seperation from a CAT I to CAT II approaches with respect to ceiling or visibility. The only changes will be in the category of aircraft. My first reference to 7110.65 will still answer the question, unless General Lee's wife is on board.

If General Lee's wife's on board, fuel burn, take-off weight, and chances of random spontaneous nausea are all doubled.

However, CAT II clearances are unaffected.
