Salmon Air is based out of Salmon Idaho, they have a lot of operations flying the back country in Idaho. They have a Navajo flying a UPS contract and I believe they only have 1 pilot based in SLC (besides the SLC Dir of OPs.). Salmon also has a couple of Navajo's that are on EAS contracts with crews based in Vernal and Moab Utah, that fly into SLC on a regular schedule. The EAS Navajos are flown with 2 pilot crews. The UPS is single pilot. Salmon seems like it would be a pretty good place to work, if you want to fly a Navajo.

I have no idea where you got the idea that salmon air is a "pretty good place to work". Lets see here, they have had one UPS run out of SLC for five years and have already crashed two planes and killed two pilots on just that run. They might be a good place to work if you like risking your life by scud running down the bottom of the salmon river drainage in the middle of the winter in a chieftain so the Jim Bob can get his bull semen on time. I wouldn't recommend Salmon Air to my worst enemy.

Does american check transport have a website?
Not that I have ever found. They have runs all over from what I have seen. They used to be based at CMI and IND, but the Fed reserve closed and the runs were cancelled. Don't know where they are now.

Finally found out, Western Air Express looks for about 1500tt and 250 multi.

Still looking for work in the SLC area if anyone can help out............ :)

At Amflight, is the time in the Lance varying now? I seem to remember a post a while back about Amflight getting rid of the Lance.
