I have seen this is in the Murray hangar, it has been around a couple years, is seems there is not much biting on it. Might be intitial cost, might be engine reserve on a TPE-331, but I have not seen anyone fly it on a cargo trip.
 
Two other problems. 1) The 1900's will do the same job with no giant mods.
2) Cargo area is unpressurized.

IMHO the j-ball is probably a tougher airframe
but a mod that has got to cost more than the
hull is worth and is for all practical purposes
irreversable will not be viewed as a good
choice by many operators.

There are also all those Shorts birds out there
that are built from the ground up with the
utility of being a freighter in mind...
