Im trying to figure out what to do in my career and maybe you guys can help me decide.
I think I have a pretty good chance to get a job at one the big regionals. One of my problems is that I will have to take a $30k paycut from where Im working now. I work for a 135 freighter. The other problem is that Im not sure if it is worth it, since I think Im pretty high time for a regional. I have around 4000 hours and most of it is turbine. I also have plenty turbine pic (2000). Should I wait for some place like SWA or go to a regional and be poor and have no upgrade in several years? Im burned out of flying freight and I really want to get out. Thank you for the advice.

If you have 1000 turbine PIC, get a 737 type and wait it out. Your experience in the the DC-8 will be appreciated. But make sure you have the 1000 turbine PIC...

Just my $0.02
