My wings may have just come out of paint shop with primer. Got to see top of wing to confirm it is a 24 gallon wing set.

What goes on in this station? Educate us in each station what happens so we can better understand the phases.

Note the XCub has a hole at base of vertical stabilizer that is covered by a fairing. Extended baggage door in a different location. SS and EX are the same for these items. Note they paint my rudder and attached.

I sent my old AOSS off the 2014 Cub up to Yakima to put on the new SS. Will take them off again when SS arrives in TRM then mount no Beringer ALG. Will see soon if they got them as the mount the main gear.

Both wings out of paint booth having change from primer gray to bright white. Now for leading edge masking and paint. After that wings should be move to around position 10 waiting for next line advance and mating probably a week from today with Labor Day holiday.

Just saw them next to your fuselage, looking good!!!

Wings now in clear view with red trim on leading edges. Looks like they are painting landing light cavity in both wings.

I see an engine and two wings

when are the trim/accent colors added?

One of the 3 positions in final. You will see 12" n-numbers go on for the LSA cert, then go to 3" for the ELSA cert. They may do the ELSA cert in the new delivery building.

There were some questions raised yesterday about differences between FX 44 gallon tank system and SS 24 gallon tank system. This image captures it all. On the left is FX with 44 gallons with a arrow at filler neck. The aluminum tank covers have not been installed. On the right are my wings with 24 gallon tank system. Arrows at filler necks. Note nice clean continuous cover of fabric over the tanks.

Looks like gear is on, and windshield.
