I read this book back in the mid 90's before I even took a lesson. good read from what I recall.

Is the OP looking for an FI member named Captain X? I recall seeing that user name around here. Probably not the author though.

Nah i was just wondering if anyone ever figured out his real name or what airline he worked for etc...he has a whole chapter on ATL but I figure he just threw that in there so people would think he worked for Delta or Eastern

Nah, just kidding, but that book was what prompted my username -- great read and I actually met one of the pilots in one of the stories.
