I have recently seen an article in the paper that led the reader to believe that a person who had been @ CS for 3 years as an FO,but then given an upgrade was paid first years CA pay @ $64,000 in year 4. Is this true?!

What are people at Citation Shares seeing for upgrade times these days? What are your wild guesses for new-hires? Would you go to Citation Shares again? I'm starting to shop the resume around...again... I'm planning on making a career out of being on first year pay. Indoc is fun!

This is going to open up a big can of worms again I am sure. Keep in mind that CS upgrades are not seniority based - they are more subjective in nature. NJA upgrades are seniority based (so long as you can pass the checkride, etc.) like most airlines. At CS, you could get hired into one of five types of aircraft (CJ1, CJ3, Bravo, Excel and Sovereign) and your movement from one aircraft to another could be limited by subjective factors.

Perhaps some CS guys can explain the "likely" movement better. I am curious too - without seniority, what sorts of factors have more weight for pilots who want to move up to other aircraft (say from a CJ1 to an Excel or Sovereign)? How do you determine who gets "dibs" on open slots?

Perhaps Bogart can enlighten us on what else you have to do in order to upgrade at CS..............seniority cant buy you everything there!

Yes, good questions again. I have heard that females don't fare as well and that there have been instances of CRM issues betwen the sexes. Does anyone have facts about this rumor? Please PM me as I am considering all of the fractionals in the near future.

Thank you!

times

The website says you need a minimum of 1500 hrs multi engine time.. is this a strict limitation. Has anyone been hired with less than this?

After reading your other posts, it would appear that you are overly sensitive about your gender and being able to hide behind union protection. I can therefore assume that you carry a big ole chip around in your uterus that has created tension in the "cockpit" on more than one occasion. If you had the ability to get along with people without aggravating the sometimes sensitive CA/FO relationship, then I would say you would fit in well in a non-union environment. Under the circumstances I would say that you need to go somewhere else and stop worrying about the fact that you are a woman and just do your job to the betterment of your ability. And as far as PMin you, WHY DOES YOUR DISCUSSION NEED TO BE PRIVATE? CS will definitely figure you out. You will be wasting your time.
edited for stupid comments.
