You ever wonder why Sparks rubs up and down on your leg.....

Love that guy... RIP Capt Over.....THAT's CLARENCE over.....

Nah, he'll complain about dragging his rollaboard up and down the jetway!

One airline used the clip of Capt. Oveur giving his briefing to the other crew as a great example of CRM (It starts right after the fueler takes his credit card & Capt. Oveur signs the credit slip). Who would have thought there would be so much movie comedic value from the likes of Peter Graves, Lloyd Bridges, Leslie Nielsen (this before the Naked Gun Pix), Robert Stack, et al??

God's Speed Peter Graves, and remember...we're all counting on you!!

another note on his history, from the Minneapolis Star Tribune:

In 1943 and 1944, as Peter Aurness, he was the Minnesota State High School Champion in the 120 yard high hurdles, running for Minneapolis Southwest. He then did a stint in the Army Air Force, and then studied drama at the U of MN. He changed his name to Graves upon signing his first movie contract in the late 40's....

Lived and died in Pacific Palisades, CA
