I flew for Cape Air 6 yrs ago, I Came to NetJets Strait from Cape Air. I Had 0 turbine time and 0 Multi crew time.
The IFR expierence you will get around the Cape is extremly valuable, you just won't see at most other places. There is also the carribean routes,
and routes around Guam (ATR's and 402's).
When I was there all they asked you for is a 6 month agreement for the 402's(Your Word).
And yes as one of the previous post Stated, An Sic is required under certain circumstances by regs, such the Captain has less then 100hrs in type, or the autopilot is inop while filed IFR. The Time is totaly Loggable and Legal.

The 1900 can be single pilot, but we realy don't see that happening now do we!
