Can't log on to check US Air app status??

I have not been able to check the status of my application with US Airways for the past past week or so.

What does this mean?? Was my application purged for whatever reason? Had anyone else had the same problem? Should I re-file my application?

I couldn't get in last night and I know the password I was using was corrrect. I had to reset the password and then it worked, but only if I manually put in the new one...I couldn't cut and paste it for some reason. A friend of mine could also not get in and is going to try resetting his password as well.

You guys really sure you want to work here with all the uncertainty and labor strife surrounding the 2 pilot groups? There are a lot better places to hang your hat now that everyone is taking resumes again than USAirways,don't you think?

Sunshine has a good attitude.

I am sure these pilots have apps in at other carriers, but if USAIR calls and it better than their current job I see no good reason not to make the jump.

Just because a company looks good today doesn't mean it will look good tomorrow and vice versa.

I have an app in at US. It still shows inbox last time I checked. I also have apps in at CAL, UAL SPA and others. I don't beleive in throwing all my eggs in one basket.

True. But in our case, management has to have the desire to make it better,ala Gordon Bethune and what he did at Continental in the 90's. You think Parker gives a rats a$$ about any of that stuff? .And even if he did,do you think he is smart enough to accomplish a turnaround of that magnitude? YGTBSM Throw your old east coast buddies into the mix and the resulting atmosphere will make the Northwest-Republic merger look like an after-church social function in comparison .Why anyone would want to give up even the worst flying job out there for any of that defies logic,especially when there are better opportunities available. By the way,when did you start drinking the kool-aid?

However, called yesterday for 11/7 CLT one day interview........
not sure how I got it, but we'll see where it goes
will email contact to try and get my app back

By the way, ANY major is still better than ANY regional for a young person trying to make headway....

The next 30+ years at a regional... yeah, okay, whatever!

Problem solved..

I tried resetting password so I contaced them via email and they reset my password for me. Now I can access my account just fine.

Incidentally, the status of my apps mysteriously changed to "Candidate review." Funny.
