<div class="bbWrapper">Dell, Gateway, or HP laptop for desktop replacement/movies on the road/gaming, etc. Thanks. Or perhaps a fourth unresearched option? Thanks</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I am the LAST person you want to take counsel from regarding anything electronic or a computer...but I&#039;ve had really good luck so far with a Compaq Presario 2100. It&#039;s probably outdated now...seems everything is about a week before it&#039;s bought...but other than the wireless taking a dive, it seems to be doing okay.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Go small!! Sony Vaio. My buddy just got the smallest version. It&#039;s very thin and easily portable. When I bought my Dell a few years ago, the genius in me said to get all the bells and whistles and a large screen. Ends up its too heavy so I never travel with it.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">My fujitsu is awesome...and not too pricey..4.5 pounds and 4 hours of battery life.....if you want to get really fancy, get one of those panasonic toughbooks.......</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I just got an Acer Aspire and love it. Every review I read about them was positive. A similar Dell or HP would cost considerably more. Great bang for the buck.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I lug around a Compaq 3160 - it&#039;s about 1.5 years old, now. The Pros: It&#039;s fast and powerful, big screen, has good features and a large drive, and the speakers actually sound good. The best pro: it&#039;s durable as hell. It has taken a brutal fall from a moving vehicle onto a concrete parking lot (in a small, lightly padded case) and it survived fine.<br /> <br /> The Cons: battery life is marginal, and it weighs a TON. The weight is the only reason that I would hesitate to recommend it to a traveller. Other than that, it has been super.</div>
