I am currently in the finishing stages of my CPL (about 30 hours to go). I wanted to have it all finished before the winter rains set in (I live in Vancouver, BC where it rains from October - March) but that didn't work out as planned. So, I was thinking I want to go down to Arizona or California - or anywhere in the southern US where the weather is sunny and warm almost everyday right now. I could rent a plane and fly everyday to get those 30 hours in. My question is, however, before I spend all the money going down there and flying, if these hours would be transferrable and be honoured for my Canadian registered CPL. Just wondering....

Also, can anyone recommend a good flight school somewhere in Arizona, Cali etc. that would be a good place for me to rent a 172 and fly everyday?
