Hi all,

I am Canadian, and I fly for a US airline. My question has nothing to do with certificate qualifications (I have US pilot certificates), but rather with Passport issues.

My passport expires next June, and I need to apply for a new Canadian Passport. On the application it says that I need to send in my current passport in order to get a new one.

As you all know, I cannot fly without a passport. Are there any Canadians who are flying for US carriers who might help me out with this issue?

Even if you're not a Canadian, but work with one who might be able to help me, would you please PM me with their contact information?

Thanks

Check the Canadian passport and embassy websites. I know that in WA state, you can keep your original passport, send a copy signed by your guarantor and have the new passport sent to the embassy for pick up. I did this and it worked good. Not sure if all embassy locations do this or not. Good luck.
