It's just a written test. Go to a Canadian flight training place (anywhere will do) and ask them what you need to know. Or go pick up the Culhane book and study. You do not get all the questions and answers like the US so the Culhane is just a good idea of what you are gonna get. PM me if you need any more info.
Be careful with the Culhane, notorious for mistakes. If you're interested in a "crash course" check out these links, I don't believe either operate in the US tho.
I'm personally familiar with John M and his programs at ProIFR, great guy, very knowledgable and will help you get through it, highly recommended. Don't know too much about the aerocourse.
Aerocourse is a very good course. Run by folks who are currently and active in the Canadian aviation industry. Very professional and they know their stuff as well.
