I'm planning a flight to Toronto from the Southern US. My question is on the return flight to the US, can I go non-stop from Toronto, or do I need to stop as soon as I enter US airspace, to clear customs?

The reason I ask, is b/c I know from the Bahamas, you must clear customs on Florida's east coast before proceeding any further westbound (i.e. if you don't have an overflight permit, which we don't have).

Thanks

KERI, quick and fast and no BS.

Just make sure you hide the Cubans under the front seat since they never checked up front.:D

Toronto Downtown is also a nice airport as well as the approach getting into there but the "sights" are much nicer at CYYZ in my opinion. I always thought that the counter girls must have been genetically engineered or something a long those lines when I had to do trips into there.:D

Don't forget that Toronto Peirson airport has required slots for certain times of the day. In my experience they are very strict about getting them and being there on-time. I have been there early and they had me hold due to my arrival time.
