I was wondering if I should call the PD and inquire about a time frame for entering class. A month ago I was told around Aug. or Sept. now with someone interviewing just 3 weeks prior to me starting class May 18th I'm trying to gauge a time frame to schedule vacation time at my current job to ensure I have enough time to study and have everything down before class starts.

I have a feeling they get calls everyday from poolies and get pretty sick of it. I don't want to be one of those guys but still would like a guesstimate.

Any suggestions?

Go ahead and call. Yes, people make a million and one calls a day, but they understand. Avoid the weekly update calls, but if your planning your vacation and you don't want to get caught off guard then call.

Don't sweat it dude. Call. As long as you don't call them every week, it won't bother them one bit if you call them to ask that question.

Call! They told me to give 'em a call every month and I did... they were happy to give me updates until I was scheduled for a class.

Jan 24th and it sounds like from another string I should be in class in June. So I won't bother them with a call. I can be patient and wait.
