piaggiop180,

I'll make this short and sweet. You'll recall I posted the thread asking if the D.O. quit. You accused me of spreading false info, etc., and how the man in question was so upset. Now that it's confirmed that he did quit, are you going to appear on this thread and admit that you were lying or mistaken? If you were mistaken, no harm, no foul. If you were lying, that makes you management, and I understand that the lack of stones common to your kind would prevent you from replying. In either case, next time wait to post until you have your crap staight, because now at the very least you look like a loser.

AOI

Poor old 180 fell to the concept of trust.

Really, Im not gonna quit. (Says managment)

That same blind faith is being mirrored in other institutions.......

Just said what he told me. Kind of shocked actually. No need to call me out just thought i was clearing up a rumor and spoke to him directly.

I too would like to know why he quit.

My crackberry has been silent the past several days.

And what's the issue with 136SL and the "big bad FAA inspector"?

angryoneincher

I think you have exercised enormous restraint given the circumstances. Good posts. You were way ahead of the information curve on this one and you took the slings and arrows that seem to invariably result from that.

Clearing up a rumor takes only the words "that's not what I heard". You started out that way, P180, but alas your post went downhill quickly--

This is totally false and he is not leaving. I just got off the phone with him and he is pissed that someone posted this.

You could have quit at this point. Instead you felt the need to pass on harassing remarks.

He says he will do everything in his power to find out who angryoneincher is for posting this crap. He also said the new shareholder who is referred to loves this Company and is amazed by its growth.

The remainder of your post was an uncalled for attack that had nothing to do with squelching a "rumor" that was in fact, the truth. Those of us on the thread were subjected to the following--

Please leave our Company angryoneincher there is no room for you here. I just checked your posts and you do nothing but bitch and moan. Are you married to netjetwife? Lets all pray that the DO finds out who he is and he gets what he deserves for posting this crap. There is nothing worse than misinformation.

You insulted two of us on the thread and now you try to pass it all off as no big deal? It must be because a pilot was involved. Those who insult only me don't bother with any excuse at all, even one as lame as yours, P180. AOI was indeed vindicated. My respect for him continues to grow. He "called you out" openly and honestly. While your weak explanation grossly glossed over your appalling conduct.

To those who say I have no business commenting, I say notice my name in the post. That gives me the right to set the record straight. I personally believe that the Avantair pilot group would be better off with more pilots like AOI. If there is no room for him there, could it be because the inflated egos are taking up too much of the space?

I agree.

Anyone care to set us straight on 136SL?

THE OFFICIAL aVANTAIR MANTRA....

Rumors are Truths and Truths are Lies.....

So fitting, doncha think?

Very! Speaking of lies, it's time for me to go back to work on the case I'm investigating.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Well I guess this proves once and for all that whatever Avantscare management tells you, it's best to assume the opposite.

Avantscare...that's funny! I learn a lot from reading the pilot boards. I still recall the chuckle we all got from the company's typo....Mr. Moisture...:D They changed the "M" to a "B", but not fast enough. It's said that laughter is a great stress reliever, hence, the dark humor that surfaces when one is dealing with a difficult situation. Sooo....Avantscare it is, huh? You know, they do it to themselves. If the name fits, it's not the pilots' fault.

i have heard nothing. have you heard anything more about the DO?

Ok fine, there is alot of stories, some even crazy, what was the story?

netjetwife

Netjetwife, you have got to be the most annoying person I have ever seen. Is there anything that you do not respond to? What are you getting paid for this? Don't tell me that you actually care about us and our families, that's crap and everyone knows it.

The pilots that know my husband are not at all surprised by my level of interest and desire to participate in a discussion of the issues. Nor do they question the fact that we BOTH are concerned with what happens to the other frac families. The members of this board who send me PMs on a regular basis have no doubts as to my sincerity. I am frequently asked to give advice (via PMs) by those who read my posts and see a caring, informed person who they feel will take the time to answer their questions. I trust you to understand why I will continue to listen to others, rather than yourself.

Just because NJW is by far smarter and more informed than your wife, that's no reason to poke your nose in this thread if that's the only thing you can come up with. I happen to be acquainted with NJW, and she's sincere about what she writes, no matter how annoying you may find her. It's safe to say she's gone through personal anguish that you know nothing about. You're uninformed, and out of the loop.

Thanks for the support, Angry, especially in my personal battle. She refused to go in for the interview, and told me I was "up the creek" if I didn't have it in writing. That makes interesting listening material when I play back the tape.

Critical things do need to be documented. Best of luck to all the Options pilots as they move into the contract negotiating phase of the fight for fairness. I, too, am shifting gears in my personal battle. Time to prove it.

My wife has better things to do than hang out and watch a website all day. The simple fact is, this website is full of stories and rumors. It is always best to ask the source rather than believe everything you read. Netjetwife is clearly here to support the union, look at the posts. I don't care either way, I am just tired of every thread being turned into a pro union rally. If you don't like the company you work for than leave and go somewhere else, it's that easy.

Yes, do read my posts. I support pilots and their families. I'm sure the members of this board appreciate that news flash that I support the union--that being the frac local 1108. I do think that 1108 gives pilots the best chance at a fair/good contract and representation that supports their interest. As to your rumor that I post on every thread--count them. 5 out of 15. That seems about average; it depends on the topics being discussed. I do my share of answering questions about subjects from crew meals to domiciles. What have you contributed lately, Jolimon?

Now back to that "better thing" that I'm doing on my computer.

Sure, ask the source so they can lie to your face. You either havent gotten burned by crappy management yet, or you're part of them. And it's not so simple as leaving if a company is screwing you over- why not try to make it better- for everyone, the people working there now, and the following generation that wants to make this a career. Do you think its just a coincidence that an FAA survey shows less and less people are learning to fly with a career in aviation in mind? It's because it's barely worth it anymore. Sorry to be so blunt, but you are just plain dumb.

Hear! Hear! Good post! It's easy to cut and run, but it takes guts to stand and fight. I've got $10 that says the Flex pilots will turn in enough cards. But let's not ask any of them to put up the same. They're all going to need it to buy a meal. BTW, doesn't that constitute a pay cut? So meals for the 7 day tour will take $210 out of your paycheck?! Losing $420 a month can cause serious problems for some of the Flex families, can't it? That's awful! You know they couldn't do that to you if you had a union on the property to represent your interests whenever someone gets a "bright" idea.

Yeah, think how pathetic it is. We're doing a job that takes a fair amount of training and knowledge, and people's lives are in our hands. Add to that the amount of money we've spent on ratings. And the fact that our jobs depend on passing a medical exam every six months. Isnt it just crazy a'ss stupid that our salaries come down to whether or not we can afford to even do this. There should never be any talk about whether or not four or five hundred lousy bucks will make or break us. God, I get so pissed thinking about it. Somebody should go on Larry King and explain to the general public that when they fly from point A to B on an RJ that the pilots are making 18,000 and some of them are barely even shaving yet. See what people think of that. That would be a great idea the more I think about it.

I don't normally watch TV, but you get on Larry King, Angry, and I'll make it a point to tune it. :) It certainly is an area where a little education could go a long way.

Wether you agree or disagree with NJW's posts, I can assure you that she is very in the know regarding the issues and answers at Netjets.

It's OK if you don't like her, but analyze the issues on the facts.
