Calculator on Interview tests?

Can you use calculators on the mechanical aptitude tests and written tests given at interviews?

Ummmm, if you can do those aplitude tests in your head you should be teching at MIT, not flying a regional. I dont know about the huge memory calculators like the TI.

unless things have seriously changed in the past 3-4 years, I don't recall anything that would REQUIRE a calculator. (aviation or otherwise) They may ask a simple descent point based on distance/gs, but the answer wouldn't require a calculator....now that the airplane figures it all out, I'd be up S. Creek if I had to do it for real

I have heard that skywest has a pretty difficult aplitude test. Most everyone I know only passed with the gauge. Physics, Algebra, etc. Of course I have never taken it so I may be wrong.

I used a calculator at the Skywest interview....they had no problems with it at all(i asked)...........
