I heard new hires are getting Guam or EWR. Is this true? I take it CLE is a senior base?

No, that is not true. New hires the last month or two have been 12 737 EWR, 4 757 EWR per week. CLE is sr because it is small. It shouldn't take more than 6months-1 year to get it.

Thanks. Just looking at commutes out of St Louis, and I know EWR is a pain =)
Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info.

I commute in and out of STL once a month, for the ANG, and it is a pain in the arss. All RJ's, all oversold, all the time.

AA has direct flights to EWR, which helps. SWA flys direct to CLE with real airplanes. We are the only show in town directly to IAH and it's all RJ's.

I commuted to EWR and IAH for a while and EWR is probably easier. Just slightly. IAH is almost always oversold. It took me two commutes before I decided to pull chocks and move and make life easier.

Good luck.

New Hires in Oct that were awarded EWR were allowed to change to IAH just this week.

None (yet) from the Oct 16 class got that offer, unless it was this evening and I didn't hear. We have around 4 that want IAH asap.
