CAL/UAL announcement next week?

Something is up. Can't really believe it will be just a clear cut "merger" of UAL/CAL. I suspect we will all be surprised about what this merger/alliance(AMR) will really look like.

No kidding somethings up. ALL these CEOs are in cahoots together. The PLAN is probably already formulated. We WILL be the LAST TO KNOW.

I can't think for the life of me what an 'Alliance" with CAL will look like. A Lufthansa pilot just told my wife on a flight that they are hearing a lot more about BA/AA. I think we will see mergers and alliances not just here but globally.

In the end there will be 5-6 GLOBAL airlines.

Boy oh boy I don't have a good feeling about doing anything with AMR. That whole TWA thing is hitting way too close to home. I hope that doesn't happen again.
