CAL To Sell 15 Aircraft

Last I heard there were also plans to get rid of 15 737-300's. So a net gain of 0 aircraft but an increase in #of seats that might correspond to th announced 3-4% growth.
 
I did a little more research...The letter to investors published 7/19 by CAL has (21) 737-900ER's, and (12) 737-800's coming in 2008. (3) 737-500's leaving in 2007, (12) 737-500's leaving in 2008 and (7) 737-300's leaving in 2008. A net gain of (14) 737's. It will leave a 737 fleet of 150 LNB's and 125 SNB's at the end of 2008.

Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but 33 (21 + 12) - 22 (3 + 12 + 7) = a net gain of 11 737s by end of 2008, not 14. Unless I'm missing something with your math above. :0

That would equal 54.5% LNB, coincidence...I think not!
