CAL recommendations

Once you have an internal rec at CAL, is it good enough just to keep your app updated, or should you have your sponsor recommend you again periodically?

Keep updating your app regularly as you stated. However, your internal rec DOES NOT have to see the CP again. Once he reccomends you and the CP likes what he sees and puts you on the short list, you're good to go - it's just a matter of time before you get called for the interview. I'm sure him going to see the CP additional times (if he has the time) probably wouldn't hurt, but it is not necessary to get the interview from what I understand. Took me about 10 months from my app being in to getting the interview call. I had 1 internal rec (8 year 756 F/O who flew with me in the military), as well as rec's from my mil leadership. Me = approx 1100 hours mil jet PIC (F15/F16) and about 2000 hours total. Good luck!
