I was just wondering about how many CAL drivers live in base or the approx % of people who commute. Kind of curious of the commuter clause, if any, they have. Thanks for the input.

IAH - Most live in base because you can actually afford to live there.

EWR - Most commute because of cost of living and because it's EWR.

CLE - I don't know.

Guam - Live there, I guess.

Commuter clause. You must have two flight with a seat available 24 hours prior to the flight. That includes all non revs that are senior to you. The jumpseat doesn't count. The last flight has to be scheduled to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to check in. If something happens to the first flight you have to keep the CPO or scheduling in the loop. When I commuted I used the clause once by call scheduling. When I told them I had missed the first flight because of a equipement swap there answer was "It's your job to get here". They basically don't know what the policy is, I guess they didn't get the memo about the new TPS reports.

CLAMABAKE

The jumpseat is now included in the commuter clause with the same requirements. Makes things a little more flexible.

Ahhhh, yeahhh, I need you to go ahead and get yourself to work today, okay.... yeahhh, great. See you then...

Love that movie!!!

We're gonna have to put you on a RX day today and a RA day tomorrow. Greeaaatt !!!

I don't like talking about my flare

I'm sorry sir, it's over. You must not have seen it lately. Very sorry.

I was referring to the "guys" talking to each other. As in
Get a room you two.
I didn't know we were using the actual quote as in

"I'm thinking about taking that new chick from Logistics out. If things go right I might be showing her my O-face. You know: Oh. Oh."

You must have a "jump to conclusion Mat" at home?

These "Office Space" dude's are hard core.

Thanks for making me spit coffee out my nose!

"Hey Peter. Watch out for your cornhole, Bud."

Laurence, what would you do if you had a million dollars...?

"I'll tell you what I'd do, man, two chicks at the same time, man."

What the hell am I gonna do with forty subscriptions to Vibe?

The pleasure here is all on this side of the table...

A minimum security prison is no picnic. I have a client in there right now. You see, the trick is, kick someone's ass the first day or become someone's bitch. Then everything will be all right. Why do you ask, anyway?

Federal pound you in the A$$ penitentary.

"Good luck with your firings Bobs!"

Lawrence, you awake?

Yeah.

You wanna come over?

No, thanks, man. I don't want you ********************ing up my life, too.

"d@m it feels good to be a gansta !"

Says who? I haven't seen any memo by the company on this. Nor have I seen any LOA from the Union on this.

Item 3: Commuter Policy Jumpseat
At CAL ALPA’s request, the company has agreed to have a CAL jumpseat considered an available seat counting toward compliance with the Commuter Policy. Effective immediately, if you are the senior pilot listed for the jumpseat 24 hours prior to departure, that flight will count as one of the two required by the Commuter Policy. Both qualifying flights could be jumpseat only.
