Cal called one of my references on my application, what does it mean? Does it mean "short stack?" Little help please.

My take, base on previous experience is that you have interviewed, passed the a$$hole test, and they're checking out what you wrote down before they make you an offer.

If you had NOT passed the a$$hole test in the interview, they wouldn't be checking up on you and you've have already gotten the flush letter.

I'd expect you'll get an offer letter in short order.
