Is that info from a pretty reliable source? Also, 4/3 only has 12 slots--is that because it is a smaller class, or are the other 4 awards TBD? Thanks!

No one has been sent to guam for a long time.
I was in the april 18th class last year.. if history means anything. The class after me was 12 and then they went to one class of 8 a month for May, June and July, then 2 in Aug.

Yup, It's pretty reliable as of 2/20....They will give you the sheet listing all of the class through the summer on your first day of class. The 2/27 does have 2 Guam guys in it! Classes through the summer will be 12 guys every other week of according to the current plan

How long is it taking to hold IAH?

If not right out of training, you can probably hold IAH 737 on the first system bid that follows. They have a year to advance you.

If you are on the 756 or 777, you have a 2-year freeze before you can bid the 737 and IAH 756 and 777 FO are pretty senior.

Pretty cool to see new hires going to Guam, especially since I'm not one of them!

I believe that there were only two vacacies for Guam on the last bid so you shouldn't see any more Guam assigments for a while.

all 737-800 so with with the small pay increase this summer, it should be about 64 bucks per hour. Not too bad for first year pay.
