Yeah know your profiles!!!! thats it. After your initial descent from 10,000ft (where you do your maneuvers) keep your power at about 63% AND DONT TOUCH IT TILL 50ft when you go to flt idle. Seriously. It'll give you flap speed for appch flaps, then gear speed, then VRef +10ish all the way down. That was our secret number at SimCom idk about the Simuflite sim.
Use your other pilot, make callouts, and if all goes right, you really dont do much but fly. I had 1000TT too when I went to training a month or two ago, and I spent every afternoon at the hotel happy hour, 1/2 the nights goin to Pleasure Island, the other nights chasin tail, and I did fine so I wouldnt worry too much.
For the oral, STUDY THE ANNUNCIATOR PANEL. If you know why every light goes on, and what makes it go on, you'll be an all star. Oh and keep your V1 cut very structured, stay calm, just fly the plane and tell ur other pilot to address the situation after you level off. Climb at V2, level off at 400ft, or if a DP requires higher then that alt, accelerate to Venr (approx 150-157 whichever the math works out to before takeoff), and then ENGAGE YAW DAMPER, ALT SEL, HDG, IAS, then AP!! You're done. Let the AP climb you out at "veener", and let it do all the work. you wont bust your heading/alt/speed if you do it that way. Sorry for talkin too much...
