Because it's Fox. They are the worst source of "news" out there.

I stopped on them a minute ago to hear what they had to say, and couldn't believe my ears: "The FAA says there were just two people on board the jet. Now we have very good reason to believe they were the pilots."

I'm not joking. Un-freaking-believable.

Is there not a single pilot Type on the CE-525? There is on the CE-500 series.

The answer is YES. There is a Single pilot Type Rating available for the CE-525.

FOX News could only be better if they got Glen Beck from CNN.

Along with the single pilot type on the CE-525 a CVR is not required, its an option.
If you are flying it under 135 then you would be required a CVR unless you have a single pilot type (CE-525s).
