Buying or selling aircraft on Ebay

Has anyone had any experience buying or selling aircraft on Ebay?

You might consider the ramifications of these sales. Neither EBay nor Sheriff sales are conducive to pre-buy inspections.

I bought a seized B-90 King-Air out of Mexico once and re-furbed it for skydiving. Could have bought a rather nice one here in the States for less when the thick, white smoke cleared. Be careful, there is usually a good reason the airplane is being sold the way that it is.

Unless you have experience buying and selling airplanes through the more traditional sources, you run a high risk of an unpleasant experience.
