Does anyone know how long they give you to study the Limitations. IE how long before you class date???

You have until your systems test, however long that is, maybe 2-3 weeks of starting groundschool. I think the only way to get the limitations and memory items is from a current Laker, I don't think they supply you with them until you start class. Make sure you get the memory items too. That way you can focus on studying the FOM and systems stuff while in groundschool without having to worry about also learning the limitations and memory items. And, in the meantime, buy some sim time and make sure your scan is up to speed.

mooser,

it ain't a 777. the beech is pretty easy systems wise and memory items wise (unless you're going to the brazilia). just go through the memory items once a night each night at GS and you'll be fine.

i don't know what systems book gla uses (we used the Flight Safety one for Air Middie). PM me if you want a cd of this manual.

What if he has already left that company or been fired? At the last company i worked at there was a guy who failed 2 times, they called him in and gave him the option to resign or be fired. How do you explain that in an interview? On the positive side I think you got nothing to lose. You obviously have some turbine time, just apply to several companies, inteview and let them decide if they want you or not.

Interesting info about lakes…
Indeed, considering they are in the process of furloughing, again. 38 f/o's is the number I heard, with the lower seniority captains looking at a possible displacement back to right seat in August (at least, that's what the CP said).

24 FO's and they were pushed through IOE; supposed to be called back around sept with a new ground school starting also...

Well see if GLA gets it's new cities in AZ....That will be the determining factor
