Fellow Aviators:

Myself and two partners are planning a Part 91 Start-up to offer a seasonal vintage
airplane rides to the general public. We are currently hashing the business/financial
plans. 2 of us are professional pilots and the third a business man.

I was wondering if any of you has tried this before and might have any insights as
what to do and what NOT to do. Please fill us in if you have any comments and/or
hints that can help us with thsi startup business.

BRGRDS,
Mature replies only please!!!

I bought an L39 a couple of years ago and to defray some of the costs I considered doing something similar. Not to mention it would help keep my accountant and wife off my back about expenses.

The problem is, in my case anyway, I had to much exposure to my assets if there was an incident or accident. It was also going to cause my insurance to skyrocket.

Talk to your local FSDO and get an attorney to review everything to protect you from as much liability as possible. You have to plan for the worst.
