One other point to consider. I have two hangars (one T-hangar) and a spot in a private group hangar. The T-hangar is leased through the city, and the terminology of the Lease Agreement specifically prohibits construction of an airplane. If you own the hangar, rather than renting, it might be a different story.

at our local airports - you need a n number, and not just a reserved number to get a hangar, but hey - must be a cheaper building space available than a hangar, also more fun as the neighbors think you are nuts.
