Heading down for some fun times next week and wanted some ideas on where to stay and what to do.

Moderate price range, dont want to be mugged or shot. Would like to stay drunk for the majority of the time. Beach, pool, sun, party

not to rain on your parade, but research the transportation strike going on there. many roads closed and many trucks and vehicles parked along side the roads.
