Never heard about the monkey thing...perhaps that happened after my departure from ASA. As far as the boob, cart, hotel lobby incident...it DID happen at the Wingate. I liked that hotel dammit...Angel.

I still have doubts about the truth of this one, but the way I heard it there was a monkey being shipped in the FWD cargo hold. In flight it got out of its cage. It started banging on the cockpit door, and being pre 9-11, the crew assumed it was one of the FAs. So they opened the door, to find a monkey standing there. I guess they could tell it wasn't a FA because it wasn't in uniform.

I have certainly installed my share of porn on the ATR during service checks! Many spank mags were butchered for the sake of raising morale. I'm no longer at ASA, but we (maint.) always had a love/hate relationship with the ATR. I kind of grows on you though.

Never been a big fan of the airplane, but the crews were among the best I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Some spectacular overnights at MYR, but the hotel in HHH can't be beat. My all time favorite FA's and FO's were the ones on that aircraft. Thank you guys/gals of the mighty ATRah, you made my job easier and a hell of a lot of fun. Big ole' shout out to the ATR specialist, Dave, in MX, he is the best and always a pleasure to work with.
