Check out the big brain on Bryan.

Position notice 13 cancelled and a displacement prelim posted this morning. He may as well try to get some bang for his buck.

The training costs are gonna go thru the roof of the Puzzle Palace.

Because of the metric system?

I agree this is nuts.
Question, If guys from the CR2 CA keep getting displaced to the ATR CA and then when the next round goes down they get displaced to the ATR and displace those guys that just got through with training and this keeps going on and on until the ATR's are gone. What kind of sh$$$it is that.....
Anyone.
Hopefully that made as much sense to you all as it did to me.

I'll admit that BL has done allot of dumb sh*t around hear but this has nothing to do w/ him. JA and SKW Inc made the call to close the SLC base for ASA open LAX. They also made the call to keep the CR7s in SLC and have SKW fly them. BL and SH were then told to adjust manpower accordingly. This can only be done in seniority based on what your bid sheet has written on it, training costs or not.

If you want to blame BL for something, how about that big blue waste of money at C-28.

It seems like fuzzy math that we are adding two 200's yet displacing off the 200 and training onto the ATR yet the ATR is going away and on and on and on. I suppose the same person suggested that a contract goal was reducing training costs, and the same person ordered the super tugs for the 900's that we are not getting, and the same person continues to spend money educating us on concourse C renovations that are neither here nor there. The same person wants us to single engine taxi and not use thrust reversers to save fuel yet we wait in front of an empty gate for fifteen minutes with both engines running (because single engine into D is forbidden) and then get told to take it to another gate for a swap. The same person told us the captains would have a PDA before January 2006 for weight and balance and yet where is this wonder palm after so much studying and testing? The same person said Preferential Bidding would not work for ASA and now makes it a condition of a new contract. The same person said he had not gotten a bonus and then two hours later says that upon further research he realizes that he was given a $700,000 bonus. For Pete's sake you ask why I do not believe what management tells me - I say just walk in my shoes for a week and you too will become a synic.

Why? Those are the things that we should spend money on. I'm sure they were sued enough times by little old ladies tripping on the stairs that those ramps looked cheap in comparison.

Or those "ladder-things" on wheels with the pulley system on them, at each concourse, plus at the maint outstations too. What are they even used for, if they've ever been used.

VOTED IN FAVOR!

Those are for mechanics working on the tail. They strap in so they don't fall off accidentally. I've never seen them used either.

Inverse seniority. My question is if the pilots being displaced don't have CR2 or ATR Captain on their bid sheet shouldn't the award go to someone senior that does have the position first on their bid sheet?

What do you mean? You haven't noticed the new soap dispensers in the men's room? Management's taking good care of the pilots.

Wow! 10 whole displacements from the 70 and 10 whole displacements from the 50. The earth is shattering as we speak

It is for those being displaced and taking a 50% pay cut.

If the displacements take place, and that is a big if, it won't last for long. Hopefully no junior captains went out and bought a new car or boat!

Thought those were the lube dispensers. You know so it don't hurt so bad.

Well I don't understand how you people can support those retards in the Mec. Managment has done EVERYTHING they said they would but yet some of you still say they are "Bluffing" about displacing 125 or so by the end of the next year. You said the same thing about the 70s going to skywest and now they are going just like they said they would.

What do I know i'm just an F/o... for cal.

Superpooter, you don't know sheet boy! My god, you get on with a major and you still come back to the regional board. What a fukin loser you are boy. I hope you respect the CAL MEC better than you did while at ASA, you whiny little loser POS. Now, go study, you make me almost want to puke, and I just ate too.

I thought they were for helping some of our fat ass pilots into the airplane.
