This is why Brazil is a third world country:

"Defense Minister Waldir Pires warned people not to point fingers. "It's a moment for caution, and until the results of the investigation are known, it's better to maintain sobriety and avoid quick judgments," Pires said."

Quote By STAN LEHMAN, Associated Press Writer, reference the TAM fatal accident yesterday.

So it's ok to point fingers when it's Americans, and the investigation (what investigation?) is not complete, but not when it's Brazilians?!

$hit like this really pi$$es me off. What a double standard'd bucnh of ******************************bags.

And no, I'm not a fanatical Yank! Discuss.

THESE PRETZELS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY.

The main item that caught my eye while reading about the accident today was where someone reported that the runway had recently been repaved, but it was not scheduled to be grooved until the end of July. Now, I don't know much about runway construction or the logistics and costs involved in such a project, but the lack of grooving on that runway appeared to contribute to an overrun on a landing during a torrential downpour.

But since there were no Yankees present, there's no need for finger pointing.:angryfire

Deleted - Reread the article - it was mostly her b****ing about her boyfriend's bad trip on TAM.
