What it means I think is that Dr. Frankentilton is turning United into another US Airways, a zombie airline. Not dead, but not alive either, and condemned to roam the earth in anguish.

i really dont deem him a "specialist"

what he never even mention was that united is going to merge with CAL--- gee then what moron, i guess getting rid of 100 of the least efficient planes wont look so bad then, will it?

i also asked ual's MEC chairman why do they operate a plane that cost more to operate than the 737, he stated the MX( parts, inspections, downtime etc) is much lower and when you even it out over the cost of the higher asm's it's still lower than the 737--- take that for whatever.

the industry is fine, move along , nothing to see here...

if you really believe that the 737 costs make it unable to make a profit, somebody needs to tell Southwest that because they are operating 214 of these unprofitable 737-3/5 aircraft.

There is no guarantee of a merger...my 2 cents worth a liquidation is of higher probability w/ f uc k head TILTON at the helm. I hope it doesn't happen but oh well.
