I just read that Boeing is pushing the first flight of their 787 to Q2 08. More "unexpected" delays. What a joke. I read in Q4 07 that they were still "hoping" for a May 08 customer delivery date. Yeah right.

I can't believe how aggressive they make their schedules. Everyone else seems to know they can't meet those dead lines yet they hold press conferences anyway and promise the impossible. Only to have to announce that they can't meet their latest schedule. Of all companies they should know better.

Now they are saying first 787 customer delivery sometime in 2009.

I like Boeing airplanes and am anxiously waiting for the 787's first flight but I wonder about their program managers!
