What a horrible sinking feeling that must have been. Apparently, even after they landed, they still weren't sure where they were.

AAO (Rwy 18 6100' x 100)
IAB (rwy 19L/19R 12000' x 150)

Airports are 8nm apart.

The military did the same thing a while back with a C-17, there is even a pretty cool video. Only difference was one runway was 3850'x100' and the military base was 12,000'x200'.

The big question is how did they turn it around for departure?

Runway and Taxiways are narrow and not stressed for the weight!

Without a guide marshaling the aircraft, I doubt they could make all the taxiway turns even with the body gear unlocked.

Atlas probably hired the same C17 crew. No wonder it happened again...
