It was an artist's rendering done for some magazine running a "future technology" issue. Popular Science, if memory serves.
 
They've been playing with the blended wing body concept for at least 10 years now. They drag it out when the want some media attention or it's a slow week for aviation week. It's a silly concept. Imagine an engine faliure for starters.
