If you guys have a mac ? i'll do my best. I used to be a certified mac tech on laptop, desktop and software..I let it expire cause i never used it (they don't break...ok sometimes). Feel free to PM me. I have looked at logten, and after having used logbook pro for a while, I just didn't think logten was as easy to use as logbook pro, but it's probably just a personal preference thing....the way i run logbook pro on my mac is through parallels, so I also run windows on my mac...

just a funny little side note...did you know that microsoft uses macs on some of their stuff!?!?

at any rate, it works really well, so that also answers the question about how to run your windows software on the mac. If you do run windows on it you'll want a pretty powerful machine...just keep that in mind....

have fun

Hi!

Does Dauntless have a feature where you can auto load data from LogBookPro into Dauntless?

I am trying to switch airlines, and if I do I'll get my own Blackberry and would like to have an electronic logbook that runs the BB and my laptop.

If you're heading for CMH Cliff, they'll tell you at indoc to NOT load ANY software from outside the company onto the BB. They even block access to the website where you used to be able to get Hold 'Em King

I've been thinking about a mac, but how easy is it for me to figure a mac out after bieng on a PC for so long? Also how much money and time will I spend on software conversions? I use Microsoft Money and like using it on the road on my Palm. I would love to have that on my Iphone as well, do they have that program for the Iphone? Sorry for all the questions, I just haven't researched the Iphone because I didn't think they had the programs that I needed.

The learning curve from PC to Mac takes all of about 10 minutes. The vast majority of PC apps have Mac equivalents. I used to be a hardcore PC guy. Never again will I give Bill Gates one more thin dime. I could get back MONTHS of my life with all those crashes/reinstalls/constant security dl's and blue screens of death. Go Mac, you won't regret it. About the only area that Mac comes up short is gaming, if that's your thing.

I'm working from my first mac right now.

I'm not saying I'm loving it. But I am getting used to it which makes it easier.

What I really need is some sort of tutorial video.

I hope your slingbox still works at the Mac too so you can see the Sox win another series from London this fall:beer:
