This is a little late but the renowned aviation author passed away January 8th after a prolonged battle with Cancer. When it comes to airplanes I have never read books that were so in depth and informative, while sometimes over my head you could tell he loved aviation and thankfully he got a long life to enjoy his passion.

Wow, I read a lot of his books.

He Was a Legend

He was only 77? It seemed like he'd been around for ever. I used his manuals when I was a student and then as an instructor. They were and are great.

Tailwinds and clear skies, Bill!

In case any of you are interested in going, there will be a fly-in public memorial service at the Winchester, TN airport on Feb 17th.http://spin.winchester-airport.com./ I know I'll be there.

He taught me a lot through his books and his spin/aerobatic course. I was lucky to have the opportunity to know him and fly with him.

Blue skies, Mr. K.

Its been a while so I am going to unstick this thread, but Bill will never be unstuck from our thoughts.
