My CubCrafters FX-3 has a built in cup holder at the right knee area and that holds a water bottle perfectly for me. But what if I want something else on a long cross country such as a can of soda, coffee, or something in a thermos, etc.? At EAA AirVenture 2023 @Tsquared and I were roaming and noticed a nice cup holder so we both ordered one. I installed mine today which required a custom shim as the two included are too thick. Easy install and I'll see how this works in the future. I just used some clear tape I had on hand which is something like 1/8" thick.

Alternatively I got a tip from a friend in an XCub that uses a YETI sling strapped to the stick and can hold a larger bottle. I have this one but never used it in the plane, maybe someday will try this one too and see which I like better.
