Last night at work my manager said that he heard a rumor. He said that herb told some pilots not to retire and wait 2 weeks because something big is going to happen, it will make SWA history. And I also heard if the wrong-ammendment gets lifted they will add 70 flights out of love so thats what I've heard, any one else??

Delaying retirement isn't an option for the vast majority of pilots who retire once they hit 60. Haven't heard of any early retirements in a long time.

The only rumors I've heard are the same "there's a big announcement coming" ones I hear about every six months.

SWA is buying jetblue, that way, what they do not have in hedged fuel will be provided, free of charge, by Airbus.

Yes, from what I understand, due to some french vs german issues, the Lexus will be replaced by a Maybach, although the discussion is still whether it will be the 57 or the 62!

If that deal goes thru, JB pilots still have to wear the Blue Uniforms. Additionally, they'll be carrying the original SWA crewmembers' luggage from the hotel lobby to the rooms. Don't worry, Smurfs, if you do it with a smile on your face, they may tip you!

Luvblue. SouthBlue.Bluesouth. Bluewest.Southjet.jetWest, wait a sec, I got it, Westjet:)

Yea with SWA buying JB, SWA can get back thier management staff.

I hear that you're pretty good with a bowstaff. Wanna join my gang??

Dude, Whatever news SWA has, it's gotta be better than that movie. I rented it the other night and it was AWEFUL!
Also, when I took the movie back they charged me $2.00 for not rewinding the DVD. I didn't know what was possable.

west jet is another SWA clone in Canada.

Yes-he was kidding. David Neeleman(JB CEO) started WestJet.
I am getting a little worried with the sarcasm not making it through to the brain cortex's on yesterday and todays posts.
