Heard that Big Sky is offering a Sign On Bonus
Does anybody know if there is any truth to this?
Can it be confirmed?
Fly Safe

Yes they are offering second year pay and $2500. Split up as you pass training events. It was still a pay cut for me so i said, laterz.

I'm sure there are a few brainless saps who will fall for the measly carrot offered by this worthless outfit.

And which 19 seat outfits pay more/ have a better contract?
In their niche, they are a decent outfit.

No...they're not. You speak not the truth. They would have to pay a lot more in order to deal with the arguably the worst management in the airline business. The only thing that has keep a great group of pilots there is that they enjoy living and working in Montana. That seems to be changing and they are losing and will continue to lose their experienced pilot group who can only take so much.

Go fly the line for a few months and then come share your opinions again so we can see how they've changed. Say hi to Stig. You sound like his kind of guy.

While things are changing there, and not for the better, I am betting you are still better off than you would be at Mesa or Great Lakes. Ask those guys about their contracts and pay rates. I do feel bad for the MT folks, they are getting the shaft by those carpetbaggers from Mesaba management. I am sure the morale there sucks these days with all of the eastward expansion, and MT contraction. However, to a new guy who had no connection with MT, I don't think there is a better 1900 operator out there.
That was a cheap shot insinuating that I have any love for the foreigner....
Now, I might say hi to WB.....
