I was checking out the Big Sky website and it lists CVG as a future pilot base.
Anyone know why?
When it is to open?
Is it a future feeder point for Delta?
I was thinking of putting in a app. for a A&P position and that would be close to home..
Thanks for any help and answers to the above questions...

Are BigSky's schedules commutable or is it a live in base type deal?

The schedule is in a constant state of flux. Therefore, it can be difficult to commute. This is yet to be seen for Bos and any other new flying. No schedules have been offered. Many do plan on commuting to Bos.
Commuting to Spi is not very easy, as the schedules are a little goofy. Most/all new hires headed to BOS and then to any new dom that opens.
good luck with your decision.

Big Sky is taking some of the smaller BOS flights. Also they are not taking any of OH's flying out of CVG. They are taking the EAS routes from RegionsAir.

Maybe that's why Mesaba is hiring! ;)
