hoop...throw 50 lbs of ballast in the back and take out a gallon or three...that should help. As for the fat lady..dont' ask her what she weighs...just estimate it at 350 and load the plane accordingly. Sand bags work great.....most fbo's have 'em laying around for that reason. If she can fit, she can go......Then a week later, you better find a 120lb hottie to take flying....just to vindicate yourself.....:pimp:

Hahaha, already got that covered. If it weren't for scheduling issues, 120 lbs would be going up first :pimp:

That could definitely make for an akward moment if she doesn't fit, though. Just tell her that you've secretly always felt a deep emotional connection to her, and as such, your wife is uncomfortable with you being together with her in a space so small. She'll either understand and bow out gracefully, or try to jump your bones. Hope for the prior.

Ok so I have a very delicate situatioun here.

One of my superiors at work, a very sweet lady...
Lady? Can't you get the Sargent Major to take care of it?

Sargent Major, are the men HAPPY? ...Well, thrash them about some more then!

Just hope the ACLU and other groups that require places to have accessibility for the disabled never get their hands on GA. All one needs to say to the wrong person is "sorry your to big I cannot take you" get fired or their ass sued off for discrimination. I can just see it now.

Jokes aside, if she's 350 lbs but still able to enter and exit under her own
power, then that should be ok. If she needs help just to talk, you have
an evacuation problem.

Also keep in mind that the seat belt may not fit. This is also a very sensitive
situation. If you think there will be a problem, send everyone else inside
"because she needs to focus on the flight, not her family right now". This
will limit the embarhassment.

Through all of this, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you remain professional
at all times. If you make her comfortable physically and mentally and she still
feels like a normal citizen, it is likely she'll give her friends and family (potential
customers) a good recomendation.

Good point. We had a student who was fairly wide and required a seatbelt extension. Make sure one is available before the two of you go out the airport.
